On Friday was held, the 13th edition of the Condor Awards, which annually gives the Cordoba Sports Agency, at the Stadium Mario Alberto Kempes of the city of Cordoba.
These awards provide public recognition to the work, merit and achievements made by Córdoba people, during the year, in different disciplines of sports, seeking and furthermore, encouraging the development of sport in all the province, to federate and amateur level, without neglecting the social sport.
The nominees and winners in the different categories of the Condor Awards were proposed by a selection Committee that was specially created for this purpose.
The Golden Condor corresponded to the athlete Rocio Comba.
In the Referees, judges and inspectors categories, the president of the Cordoba Boxing Federation, José Emilio Graglia, competed with other nominees like, Walter Gialdi (artistic gymnastics), Marcos Gigena (Karate), Nilda Fontanella (rhythmic gymnastics), Eduardo Novack (Karate) y Marcelo Pierobon (volleyball).
This is a very well deserved award to the sporting career of José Graglia, who has represented Cordoba around the world, supervising in his long and outstanding career almost one hundred title fights. This is not the first time Graglia is candidate for this award, since he has joined the list of nominees on several occasions. This time he can add this trophy to the many that he already owns that includes several distinctions of the World Boxing Association (W.B.A.) of which he is also leader.
