The historical Bernard Hopkins celebrates another year of life and the WBA family sends him the most affectionate birthday greeting.
He was born 50 years ago in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA, he was first known as “The Executor”, and recently as “The Alien”, Hopkins is now considered as one of the best boxers of all time, he is also a man with several notable sport records.
He became the unified world champion of the four mayor boxing organizations simultaneously.
Your professional record is 55-7-2, 32 KO in a decade (10 years, 2 months, 17 days) as King of the middleweight division and defended it successfully for 20 times, which is a record, as well as being the oldest fighter to become world Middleweight Champion (40 years, 6 months and 1 day), and repeated it eight years later when he won the light heavy title (48 years 1 month and 22 days).
Beside he has a record of 24-4-2, 13 KO’s and two NC in world title fights; and 16-6-1, 6 KO’s and 1 NC against former champions of present champions.
To mention Hopkins is remembering his fight against Félix “Tito” Trinidad, Oscar de la Hoya, Roy Jones Jr, Jermain Taylor, Joe Calzaghe and recently Sergey Kovalev, among other great figures.
