The super champion Takashi Uchiyama will defend his World Boxing Association title against Jomthong Chuwatana and Ryoichi Taguchi will do the same against Kwanthai Sithmorseng, on Wednesday in the Ota City General Gymnasium, in Tokyo, Japan.
Uchiyama (22-0, 18 KO) marked 129.5 lbs (58.7 kgs) and is waiting for the opening bell to defend his WBA 130 lbs title against Chuwatana (9-0, 4 KO), who marked 129 lbs 8 eight ounces.
The Japanese won the Crown in 2010. New Zealander Ferlin Marsh will be the referee and Gustavo Jarquin (NIC), Wan Soo Yuh (KOR) and Roberto Ramírez (PUR) will add cards.
