The Puerto Rican Luis Pabón will referee the bout between bantamweight champion Jamie McDonnell and the Japanese Tomoki Kameda, this Saturday at the State Farm Arena in Hidalgo, Texas.
Together with Pabon, will be Ignacio Robles (PAN), Lynn Carter (US) and Nelson Vasquez (PUR), as judges, all of them under the supervision of Carlos Chávez (VEN).
McDonnell (25-2-1, 12 KO) faces his second defense of the title he won in May 2014 defeating Tabtimdaeng Na Rachawat by TKO 1 in London.
On the other hand, Kameda (31-0, 19 KO), the youngest of the Japanese brothers, relinquished the WBO title to fight for the McDonnell’s belt. This is his first shot for the black and gold belt.
