Cuellar (26-1, 20 KO), who is defending his black and gold belt for the fourth time stopped the scale at 125.8 lbs while Darchinyan (40-7, 31 KO) weighed 125.4 lbs, according to Panamanian Miguel Prado supervisor of the fight.
The California State Athletic Commission appointed as referee Tom Taylor, and judges Rubén Carrión, Sergio Caíz and Max de Luca as judges.
