Cameroonian Hassan N’dam and Japanese Ryota Murata will fight for the World Boxing Association Middleweight Title on May 20th in Tokyo, Japan.
Murata told local reporters “I’m grateful for the opportunity to fight for the middleweight crown. I expect a very tough fight but I want to leave everything out there and return the blessing of having won an Olympic gold medal.”
N’Dam is the WBA 160 lbs Interim champion, since last December after a spectacular KO 1 over Alfonso Blanco. His record is 35-2, 21 KO’s, while Murata has a history of a gold medal won in London 2012 and 12 undefeated fights with 9 KO’s.
