Argentine Yesica Bopp (30-, 12 KO’s) will defend her World Boxing Association Minimum title in Argentina where she will fight Colombian Luna del Mar Torroba (11-5-2, 2KO’s).
Bopp 33, is the WBA 108 world champion since 2009, however in 2014 she was appointed champion in recess due to her pregnancy, and returned in 2016, ratifying her champion status defeating Mexican Nancy Franco by unanimous decision.
Yesica, better known as “La Tutti” has made 14 successful defenses of her title, this will be the fifteenth.
On her part, this will be the first time Torroba fights for a world title. She has fought in Argentina all career and fought four times in 2016, winning two and losing two fights.
