Kazuto Ioka once again proved that he is one of the best flyweights in the world and defended his World Boxing Association title after beating Thai Noknoi Sitthiprasert by unanimous decision at the Edion Arena in Osaka, Japan.

The Japanese dominated most of the match and could contain a rival who was convinced to snatch his belt. Ioka won on the three judges’ cards: 117-110, 117-110 and 116-111. It is the fifth time the 28-year-old boxer has defended his title since becoming the champion of the division in September 2015.

Ioka improved his record and now has 22 wins, one defeat and 13 victories by knockout. On the other hand, Noknoi Sitthiprasert now has a record of 62 wins, five falls and 38 knockouts.
