The Belgian Ryad Merhy and the American Mitch Williams will fight for the WBA-Intercontinental Cruiserweight title this Saturday in Hainaut, Belgium. The weigh-in ceremony was held this Friday. Merhy hit the scales at 197.5 pounds and Williams at 195.1.
Merhy, current owner of the regional belt, has a record of 22 victories, 19 of them by knockout. The European pugilist still does not know what it is to lose or draw a fight.
On the other hand, Williams has won 15 fights, lost 4, tied 3 and knocked out 10 opponents.
