The World Boxing Association (WBA) will have two world title fights in Central America and the United Kingdom that promise great excitement this weekend.
The first of the belts that will be at stake is the vacant Super Middleweight Super Championship. The Russian Fedor Chudinov (14-1, 10 KOs) will face the experienced British George Groves (25-3, 18 KOs) in a very interesting battle.
In that same evening, Jamie Cox and Lewis Taylor will fight for the WBA Intercontinental Championship of the same division, which will make the boxing card in Sheffield even better.
On the other hand, Costa Rican Hanna Gabriels (16-1-1, 11 KOs) will return to her home country after nearly a year without fighting, to defend her WBA Super Welterweight crown against Canadian Natasha Spence (8-2-1, 6 KO). The event that will be held at the BN Arena, Hatillo, in San José, promises to revolutionize the country thanks to the acceptance that its champion has among the people.
For the WBA, this is another special week in which the best warriors in the world will be fighting for their prestigious belts.
