World Boxing Association (WBA) Super Featherweight Super Champion, Jezreel Corrales, arrived in California this week for his defense against Mexican Robinson Castellanos at the Inglewood Forum.
The Panamanian will expose his crown this Saturday against Castellanos, and both began to comply with the activities prior to the bout. The public workout was held this Wednesday, and both boxers went in the ring to do some workout in front of the fans and journalists at the event.
“This is the first time I’m here in California and I feel very motivated to represent my country”, Corrales said. “We have studied the opponent very well and we know what to do in the ring. We are confident that it will lead us to victory”, he continued.
Corrales has a record of 21 wins, 1 defeat and 8 wins by knockout. Castellanos has a balance of 24 victories, 12 falls and 14 wins by knockout.
