Best of luck, Wladimir Klitschko

Today, August 3rd, 2017, the Ukrainian Wladimir Klitschko said goodbye to Boxing, ending a successful career. For this reason, the World Boxing Association family, to which he belongs, wishes him the best on his upcoming projects.

“Dr. Steelhammer”, as he is known, won the gold medal at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, was a four-time World Heavyweight champion and is a successful businessman. Undoubtedly, his victories in and outside the ring make him an example for young athletes and current champions.

Klitschko proved to be a disciplined man, passionate about boxing and committed to the fans during his career. These are values that go hand in hand with our organization and that gave him an important place in the history of this sport.

Thank you for everything, Klitschko!
