The Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas, will have a shocking night this Saturday due to the fight for the World Boxing Association (WBA) Cruiserweight Championship between Cuban Yunier Dorticos and Russian Dmitry Kudryashov.
The weigh-in ceremony for the fight was carried out normally this Friday and both fighters made weight. Dorticos, who will defend his crown, hit the scales at 199 pounds, while the European stopped the scale at 200 pounds.
The fight promises a lot of action as it is a clash between two powerful boxers with interesting styles who are hungry to cling to the WBA belt. Dorticos has already been Interim Champion of the division, whereas Kudryashov has held the International belt of the same weight.
Dorticos holds an immaculate record of 21 fights, with 20 won by knockout. Meanwhile, the Russian has 21 wins, 1 defeat and all his matches have been defined by knockouts.
