Ryan Burnett will expose his World Boxing Association (WBA) Bantamweight Super Championship against Yonfrez Parejo as part of the undercard of the fight between Anthony Joshua and Joseph Parker, which will take place this Saturday in Cardiff, Wales.
The British man won the title last year by beating Kazakhstan’s Shabat Zhakiyanov and will now have to defend it against the Venezuelan. Both have good technique and movements, so the fight promises to be an interesting exchange of strategies.
The challenger traveled on Sunday and arrived in Wales on Monday, where the champion waits for him to star in one of the most interesting bouts of the evening.
Burnett has won his 18 professional bouts, 9 of them by knockout. On the other hand, Parejo has a record of 21 wins, 2 losses, 1 draw and 10 knockouts.
