The World Boxing Association (WBA) Heavyweight Super Champion, Anthony Joshua, and his challenger Joseph Parker completed the weigh-in ceremony in Cardiff, Wales, and are ready for their fight this Saturday.
The English champion hit the scales at 242.2 pounds, while the New Zealander weighed in at 236.7 pounds. This was the last step before entering the ring on Saturday night as the main attraction of an evening full of good fights for WBA belts.
The local Joe Cordina and the Belgian Hakim Ben Ali managed to stay within the limit of the division to fight for the WBA-International Lightweight belt. Cordina weighed in at 134.5 pounds and Ben Ali at 134.1 pounds.
On the other hand, Alexander Povetkin stopped the scale at 224.5 pounds, while David Prive at 255.4 pounds. Both will fight for the WBA-Intercontinental Heavyweight Championship.
Meanwhile, British man Josh Kelly, stopped the scale at 146.5 pounds to face Mexican Carlos Molina (145.5 pounds) for the WBA-International Welterweight belt.
