The World Boxing Association (WBA) will have a Board meeting in Yekaterinburg, Russia, on the eve of the World Boxing Forum that will begin in the European country this week.
The purpose of the meeting is to report the latest events of the entity, summarize recent changes and plan for the near future. The day will be quite broad and will cover several points that will be distributed from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., local time in Russia.
The activities will begin with a few words from the president of the organization, Gilberto Jesus Mendoza, who will address the entire staff of the oldest body in the world to welcome and make clear the objectives of the conference.
The activities will consist of presentations by members of the AMB, including Carlos Chavez, Silvana Inalsingh, Maria Borissova and Julio Thyme. Among the topics that stand out are the situation of regional funding, the summary of the last Convention in Medellin and different medical topics for the development of sport.
The activities hope to lay the foundations for what will come in the immediate future, projects and announcements that the AMB will announce in the coming months.
