The president of the World Boxing Association (AMB), Gilberto Jesús Mendoza, arrived in Argentina on Tuesday to meet an immense agenda for Latin boxing.
In his goal of establishing discipline continues to grow day by day, the leader will be in various activities along with local fighters and journalists, as well as being invited to the ESPN Knock Out broadcast next Saturday.
On Wednesday, Mendoza will meet with the Argentine national amateur team in a group training by 2:30 pm, at the Centro de Alto Performance Deportivo (CENARD). The goal is to gather a group of boys to share experiences and ideas with the WBA President related to all the changes in today’s boxing.
On Thursday, he will meet with the press at a luncheon at 1:00 pm. Journalists in Buenos Aires will have the opportunity to talk with Mendoza about topics related to their tour of the country, the current affairs of the WBA, and plans regarding the discipline in the world.
Gilberto Jesus will attend the prestigious SportsCenter news center on Friday, where he will be interviewed about Saturday’s boxing card and other topics. Finally, on Saturday, he will take part in the ESPN Knock Out broadcast taking place in Chicago. Among other bouts, the event main fight is Dmitry Bivol’s WBA light heavyweight title defense vs. Lenín Castillo.
