The countdown already started and we already started feeling what will be the KO TO DRUGS festival that will be presented next Friday at the Roberto Durán Arena in Panama City, where two fights headline, alongside Matellón vs García match, is the addition of a 12 round fight for the WBA Interim Fly weight crown between Colombian Rober Barrera (23-2-0) and the experienced Panama’s Luis Concepción (38-8-0).
This attractive match presents 2 opposing fighters, from the generational side, but similar in terms of what each one has to give inside the ring, veteran “Nica” Concepcion and youngster Barrera have the experienced disputing final eliminator matches. In Concepcion’s last fight in July 2019 scoring a 4 Round Ko against Felix Moncada in Panama, prior that match he lost via Decision in Virginia, USA, against Rumanian Alexandru Marin. Concepción has had a greater journey, while Barrera has only fought twice outside of Colombia, the second being a great display of skill in Japanese soil, when he won the WBA Flyweight title.
In complementary matches, we will have the dispute of the FEDELATIN belts, in Bantamweight Leosdan Nuñez (10-0-0) vs Javier Martínez (12-3-0), and disputing the female belt Yaditza Pérez (13-13-1) vs Nataly Delgado (7-2-1) in Flyweight.
