Colombia’s Belmar Preciado and Mexico’s Rodolfo Hernandez will feature Friday’s event at the Osceola Heritage Park in Kissimmee, as they will fight for the World Boxing Association (WBA) Fedecentro Interim Super Bantamweight title.
Preciado comes from a tough defeat last August but wants to turn the page and take another chance to move up. In his most recent featherweight fight, he fell against Dennis Contreras and he has now moved down one division for this opportunity.
He will fight the Mexican Hernandez, who also comes from a defeat in January this year during his first presentation in the United States. “Fofo”, as he is nicknamed in Mexico City, has fought against good opponents such as Yenifel Vicente and Albert Pagara.
The event is organized by All Star Boxing and will be televised by Telemundo in the United States. Preciado has 20 wins, 3 losses, 1 draw and 13 KOs; and Hernández has 30 wins, 9 losses, 1 draw and 28 KOs.
