Rachel Ball and Jorgelina Guanini will fight for the WBA bantamweight title this Saturday at Wembley Arena, in the undercard of the big bout between Katie Taylor and Miriam Gutierrez.

The event organized by Matchroom has a great female participation, in which this fight between the British and the Argentinean stands out, both with a great opportunity in front of them.

The two fighters face new challenges for their careers. For Ball, who will is the local, it will be her first world championship fight after three years of looking for that opportunity. The 29-year-old has been climbing the ranks to get this chance, which she doesn’t plan on wasting.

For Guanini, who has already been world champion in the super flyweight category, the challenge will be to reach a new category for such an important fight to win her second crown in different divisions. The South American is 28 years old and will only do her second fight away from home. It is worth mention that Guanini has never won a fight outside her home country, which is another challenge for her.

Both will go on the scale on Friday to score the regulatory 118 pounds of the division to be qualified for Saturday. Ball arrives with a record of 6 wins and 1 loss. On the other hand, Guanini has 9 wins, 1 setback, 2 draws and 1 knockout.
