Eduardo el “Zurdo” Ramírez found a spectacular KO in the fourth round against Miguel Flores at the AT&T Stadium, in Arlington, Texas, to prevail with authority in his World Boxing Association (WBA) Featherweight title eliminator fight this Saturday night.

The Los Mochis, Sinaloa native fighter proved to be the best boxer in the ring from the first bell with great distance work and working with long punches that kept his compatriot at bay.

A good waist movement, combined with uppers to the body and hooks to the head were the best weapons of Ramírez, who defined everything when just 10 seconds of the fourth round had passed. A right hook hit Flores’ chin, who was trying to hit a straight right when he was caught and sent to the canvas with that forceful blow.

Although “El Michoacano” tried to get up, the referee did not allow him to continue due to his poor condition.

The 27-year-old winner, who will move up the WBA rankings from his current 13th position, now has a record of 24 wins, 2 losses, 3 draws, and 11 KOs. For his part, Flores leaves a record of 24 wins, 4 losses, and 12 KOs.
