Conor Benn and Samuel Vargas declared themselves ready for their fight this Saturday at Wembley Arena in London. In their last press conference, the contenders of the World Boxing Association (WBA) Continental Welterweight title talked to the press about their fight and the importance it has for them.

Benn is one of the most exciting rising fighters at 147 pounds and will be making his fourth defense of the black and gold belt. The Briton assured that he wants to leave a great impression on the fans and show the quality he has in one of the hottest divisions in boxing.

On the other hand, the Colombian challenger has significant experience having fought opponents such as Errol Spence, Vergil Ortiz, Danny Garcia, among others. He assured to have had a great training camp and to be ready to spoil the champion’s night on Saturday.

Both Benn and Vargas will have to step on the scale tomorrow to complete the last step before their bout. On Saturday they will be ready to shine on Matchroom Boxing’s big night.

Benn has a record of 17 wins, no losses, and 11 KOs, while Vargas has 31 wins, 6 losses, 2 draws, and 14 KOs.
