Seniesa Estrada received the World Boxing Association (WBA) Fighter of the Month award after her defense of the WBA minimum title last December 18, in San Antonio, Texas.
The WBA published its women’s rankings lists and all the moves were made in the last month and Seniesa was the most important boxer of that period.
The American not only prevailed in her showdown against Maria Micheo, but delivered a knockout that is the favorite of the year with a big left hook. “Superbad” got the knockout in the fourth round and made the first defense of her black and gold crown.
The 29-year-old fighter is moving forward steadily in her quest to become the best pound-for-pound fighter and is already among the world’s boxing elite.
