Aaron Aponte is just starting his journey in professional boxing but he has a good projection. The American-Argentinean will step into the ring in a big fight on February 5 in Phoenix, Arizona.
Aponte is one of the talents who participated in the Future WBA Champions, a program of the pioneer organization that seeks to promote amateur boxing and contribute to the difficult moment the sport is going through in that area.
The “Alien”, as the 20-year-old fighter is nicknamed, recently signed a promotional agreement with Matchroom Boxing and will make his first appearance on one of their cards.
He is a rather tall boxer (183 cm) who fights in the super lightweight category and has good skills. He has been a professional since 2020 and has won all four of his professional fights, two of them by knockout.
The WBA bantamweight champion, Jaime Mitchell, will also defend his crown at the Phoenix event and Raymond Ford will expose his continental featherweight belt.
