Light heavyweight prospect Albert Ramirez, got another victory in his career by knocking out Mexican Juan Carlos Raygoza in three rounds on Friday at the Polideportivo Alcalde, in Guadalajara, Jalisco.
The 29-year-old Venezuelan southpaw fighter, with a good career in amateur boxing, continues to be talked about and got another great win with a right uppercut that sent his Mexican opponent to the canvas to end the fight in the third round.
Ramirez had managed to knock Raygoza down in the first round with a hook but he recovered to stay in the fight. However, Ramirez’s physical and technical superiority meant that it was only a matter of time before he got the knockout.
It was the 10th victory for Ramirez, who has knocked out all 10 opponents he has faced, while Raygoza’s record dropped to 17 wins, 20 losses, 3 draws and 6 knockouts.
