The World Boxing Association (WBA) KO Drugs will live its 37th edition this weekend with two evenings of boxing in the city of Panama. On Friday, a women’s event will take place with the world championship fight between Yésica Bopp and Jessica Nery as the main event, while Saturday will be the men’s card with the super featherweight eliminator between Jezreel Corrales and Miguel Madueño.

As always, the WBA festival will feature a lot of Latin American talent. Experienced fighters will be combined with young fighters to put on a great show.

Friday’s event will be held at the Majestic Casino, while Saturday’s will take place at the mythical Arena Roberto Durán, one of the most important venues in the country.

Fighters such as John Lennon Gutiérrez, from Colombia; Erick Lanzas Jr., from Nicaragua, Anthony Olascagua, from the United States and Johan González, from Venezuela, will be some of the emerging talents that will see action next Saturday.

In the women’s division, Colombian Paulina Angel, and Veronica Zuluaga, also from Colombia, will take to the ring. Other up-and-coming fighters will also see action, such as Argentina’s Clara Lescurat, who will fight Nataly Delgado for the Gold Flyweight title.

All the fighters are already in Panama finalizing details for their fights. Panama is once again hosting the event and has become an important venue for the organization’s festival.
