As the fight between Saul “Canelo” Alvarez and Dmitry Bivol gets closer, the atmosphere heats up. Recently, the World Boxing Association (WBA) light heavyweight champion, Bivol, assured that he has all the tools to dominate the fight on May 7.

In an interview with Fight Hub TV, the Russian talked about what he expects from the fight and highlighted that the Mexican is a great fighter but he can fail.

“He’s a normal man, he’s not invincible. Most people see him as if he is untouchable, but let’s see; he has one loss and one draw, so if you have the quality you can put him in his career one more setback,” highlighted the WBA champion in the interview.

It is evident that Alvarez has speed, strength and that his technique has improved a lot over the years, which has taken him to the top. To beat “Canelo”, you have to put all the meat on the grill and that is exactly what Bivol intends to do.

“I have to take risks, I will face the best boxer pound for pound. Obviously I’ll have my precautions, but I’m going to take bigger risks because I’ll be facing a better fighter than the ones I’ve faced,” he continued.

The T-Mobile Arena, in Las Vegas, is getting ready to experience one of the best fights of the year on May 7, in which Bivol will try to retain his crown against the best fighter of the moment.
