WBA Press. February 6. Don King Promotions will stage the mandatory fight between the WBA 200 pounds champion Denis Lebedev from Russia and the Champion in Recess Guillermo Jones from Panama in April.

The mystical American promoter attended the bid summon with a check for seven hundred twelve thousand dollars and became the winner of the bidding. John Wirt represented Hrunov Promotions, who offered 357 thousand dollars to stage the fight in Moscow.
Don King proposed sites are Panamá, Miami and Nigeria, all of them in April. They will determine the date and the site of the fight.
The bidding was directed by Gilberto Jesús Mendoza, championships committee chairman, who was accompanied by Miguel Prado, ratings committee chairman.
Mendoza said the bid was summoned on January 24, 2013 due to the fact that negotiations were not fruitful and the parties did not reach an agreement.
The minimum amount to participate in the bid was $200,000.00, and the disbursement will be 55% for Jones and 45% for Lebedev.

Don King fue el ganador de la subasta realizada en las oficinas de la Asociación Mundial de Boxeo, en Panamá, y que fue transmitida en vivo por la página web www.wbanews.com
El mítico promotor estadounidense asistió a la cita con un cheque de 712 mil dólares que resultó ganador de la puja. John Wirt representó la empresa Hrunov Promotions, que ofreció 357 mil dólares para montar el pleito en Moscú.
Don King dijo que las posibles sedes son Panamá, Miami y Nigeria, todas en el mes de abril. Habrá que definir el día, y anunciar oficialmente el lugar del compromiso.
La negociación fue dirigida por Gilberto Jesús Mendoza, presidente del Comité de Campeonatos Mundiales, quien estuvo acompañado por Miguel Prado, presidente del Comité de Clasificaciones.
Mendoza recordó que la subasta fue llamada el pasado 24 de enero de 2013, debido a que en varias oportunidades las negociaciones sostenidas por ambas partes no pudieron llegar a ningún acuerdo.
El monto mínimo de participación de la subasta será de $200,000.00, con 55% para el campeón, y 45% al interino.
