The World Boxing Association (WBA) super middleweight champion, the Cuban David Morrell, will face the American Kalvin Henderson in defense of his title this Saturday at the Armory arena, in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
The Antillean will return to the ring after his last fight in December of last year, in which he defended the belt after a four round technical knockout against Alantez Fox.
Morrell is 24 years old and is a technically sound, southpaw power fighter who has worked his way up to 168 pounds and is looking to challenge the biggest names in the division right now.
Henderson is 31 years old and is presented with a great opportunity. He last knocked out Robert Burwell in two rounds in October 2021 and is looking to pull off an upset.
The fight will be included in the TGB Promotions event that will feature the Stephen Fulton-Daniel Roman fight as the headliner. Morrell is undefeated in 6 fights, with 5 knockouts, while Henderson has 15 wins, 1 loss, 1 draw and 11 knockouts.
