Japan’s Hiroto Kyoguchi landed in Guadalajara on Monday in preparation for his June 10 fight against Esteban Bermudez. The World Boxing Association (WBA) super flyweight champion will face the Mexican to define the only 108 lbs. champion of the pioneer organization.
The WBA champion will visit Bermudez and will be the protagonist of the main fight in the Matchroom event in Mexico.
Kyoguchi made his preparation in Japan and arrived in Mexico 11 days earlier with the intention of adapting to the schedule and the weather while he finalizes the last details for the fight.
The Japanese will make the fourth defense of his championship in a mandatory bout that is part of the world title reduction plan of the pioneer organization.
