The 2022 class of the Florida Boxing Hall of Fame will have their induction ceremony this Saturday in Fort Myers. Great fighters, trainers, promoters, members of the press and others involved in boxing will enter the state’s temple of immortals in a beautiful act of recognition.

Ring legends include Al Cole, Fres Oquendo, David Tua, Shannon Briggs, Keith Millings Sr., David Armstrong, Randall Bailey and Cory Spinks. They will be joined by trainers Gus Curren, Tito Ocasio and Armando Fernandez.

Promoter Richard Dobal will also be recognized, while journalist Claudia Trejos will be the only member of the press this year.

Officials Dennis DeBon and Ramon Garcia-Septien will also be honored, in addition to other participants who will also be honored.

The WBA congratulates all the inductees and hopes they have a great day as they enter the Florida Hall of Fame.
