While Dmitry Bivol takes a well-deserved rest, he will be keeping an eye on this Saturday’s bout between unified light heavyweight champion Artur Beterbiev and fellow American world champion Joe Smith Jr. at Madison Square Garden in New York.

Bivol comes from defeating Saul “Canelo” Alvarez and retaining his World Boxing Association (WBA) crown on May 7 in a great show and has yet to decide what the next step in his career will be.

The winner between Beterbiev and Smith could be one of the options for the monarch of the pioneer body, so he will be attentive to the fight that will have three belts at stake and promises to be a fight full of action and excitement.
