Tewa Kiram and Mohammed Zekria Zamani complied with the weight in Bangkok, where this Saturday they will dispute the WBA Asian super welterweight belt.
Thailand’s Kiram, who is fighting home, scored 153.8 pounds on the scales, under the 154 limit, while Afghanistan’s Zekria Zamani stopped the scale at 153.4 pounds.
It will be a nice showdown in which Kiram’s experience seems to have an advantage over the visiting fighter but Zekria Zamani’s motivation and undefeated record may play an important role in hurting the home fighter’s party.
Kiram has 46 wins, 1 loss and 33 knockouts. Zekria Zamani has 5 wins, 3 of them by knockout.
