Uzbekistan’s Israil Madrimov and France’s Michel Soro will step into the ring this Saturday for their second bout, which will be a World Boxing Association (WBA) super lightweight eliminator at the O2 Arena in London, England.
The two 140-pound pioneer body contenders fought on December 17 last year and Madrimov won the fight, however, it was decided by a mistake and a punch out of time, so it had to be repeated.
In that fight Madrimov dominated despite the unfair ending and the Uzbek feels confident to repeat the tone in this second fight.
Soro is an experienced fighter who adjusts to situations, so his opportunity to correct mistakes on this occasion grows and wants to pose a difficult fight for Madrimov.
The fight will be the co-main attraction of the Matchroom Boxing event this Saturday in the English capital, where Dereck Chisora and Kubrat Pulev will fight in the main event.
Madrimov comes in with 8 wins and 6 knockouts, while Soro has 35 wins, 3 losses, 1 draw and 24 knockouts.
