Nicaraguan Santos Reyes conquered the World Boxing Association (WBA) Fedecentro super lightweight title this weekend by defeating Bryan Jimenez by technical knockout at the Nuevo Gimnasio Nicarao, in Managua, Nicaragua.
Reyes faced one of the toughest tests of his career against an opponent who was also undefeated like him. Two talented boxers with their sights set on moving up in the world scene.
In the end it was Reyes who was able to come out with his hand up and win the regional title of the pioneer organization, which will allow him to take another status and continue to move up in his career.
The winner maintained his undefeated record after 11 fights, 3 of them won by knockout, while Jimenez left his balance at 9 wins and 1 loss.
