Irish super welterweight prospect Caoimhin Agyarko will make the third defense of his World Boxing Association (WBA) International belt against American Peter Dobson on October 29 at Wembley Arena.
The 25-year-old fighter has been moving up the 154-pound ranks and will now have a new test as he attempts to keep his regional black and gold belt.
He won the crown last December when he defeated Noe Larios Jr. by technical knockout in 9 rounds. His first defense was on March 12 against Juan Carlos Rubio and his second against Lukasz Maciec last July.
Dobson is an American veteran who is fighting outside of his country for the first time, but is undefeated and has enough experience for a fight of this type. The 32-year-old New Yorker want the opportunity to shine be known oversea.
Agyarko has 12 wins, no losses and 7 knockouts. Dobson has 16 wins, 9 of them before the limit.
