The Newcastle Arena will have an interesting World Boxing Association (WBA) eliminator duel this Saturday. Britain’s Thomas Patrick Ward and Uzbekistan’s Otabek Kholmatov will square off for a world featherweight opportunity in the co-main event of this weekend’s event.
The two boxers will fight in the same event where super lightweight Ohara Davies and Lewis Ritson will also star in a WBA eliminator fight, which will be the main event of the night.
Patrick Ward is 28 years old and has a long career in professional boxing dating back to 2012. He has had a long career and is a good stylist who has earned the eliminator thanks to his great work in the ring.
