The World Boxing Association (WBA) Championships Committee scheduled the Purse bid for the middleweight world championship bout between Gennady Golovkin and Erislandy Lara for next Monday, March 13, in Panama City.
After giving a regulatory deadline for the negotiation, the committee scheduled the Purse bid that is part of the World Title Reduction Plan and that puts face to face the super champion and the champion in search of a single champion at 160 pounds.
The minimum amount of US$ 200,000.00 to obtain the rights and the split will be 75% for Golovkin and 25% for Lara and will be directed by the vice-chairmain of the championship committee, the Panamanian Julio Thyme.
The official resolution was sent to the teams of both fighters so that they are aware and have enough time to make their arrangements.
