Prospect Milan Prat defeated Abel Mina on Saturday at the Grand Elysée venue in Rotherbaum, Germany, and is now the new World Boxing Association (WBA) intercontinental super welterweight champion.
The 23-year-old Frenchman scored a knockout in just two rounds to confirm his favoritism in the fight and achieve a resounding victory that ratified him as a fighter of good projection in the world arena.
Prat, a native of Seine-Saint-Denis, won his fourteenth consecutive knockout victory and showed his power in the ring against his South American opponent.
Although Mina came with an interesting record, he could not do much against the power of the fists of the European fighter.
Prat now has 19 victories, 16 of them by stoppage. Mina dropped his record to 16 wins, 3 losses and 8 knockouts.
