After his loss to Gervonta Davis last April 20, Ryan Garcia has begun a process of changes for his return to the ring and hopes to get back on track and remain among the elite of world boxing.

Among those changes is moving up to 140 pounds, his union with renowned trainer Derrick James and other technical corrections he intends to make along the way.

He still has not defined when or against whom his next fight will be, however, it is expected to be in the month of August and the opponent will be chosen from a range of options that his promoter, Oscar De La Hoya, of Golden Boy Promotions, will put on the table.

“Talking to his manager, next week I will present his four names, who do you think we will agree on?” said De La Hoya via his Twitter account this week.

Garcia is a talented fighter who is looking to prove it in the ring. His foray to super lightweight will add more excitement to the division and the public expects to see his new version transcend his undefeated record against Gervonta.
