Kevin Hayler Brown will fight Idalberto Umara for the World Boxing Association (WBA) Continental Americas super lightweight crown this Friday night at the Caribe Royale Hotel in Orlando, Florida.
It will be a great duel of Cuban fighters for the regional belt of the pioneer body, which will be the main fight of the event organised by BoxLab Promotions.
Brown, 30 years old, comes from defeating the Dominican Marcos Jimenez in the WBA Drugs KO that took place in December in this same venue during the 102nd convention of the oldest boxing organization. On that occasion he got a technical knockout in five rounds and now he will be looking for a new victory.
Umara is 23 years old and comes from beating veteran Jayson Velez in his last fight in February this year. Now he will have a tough challenge and wants to show the talent that has made him a good boxing prospect.
Brown has a record of 4 wins, no losses and 3 knockouts, while Umara has 12 wins, 2 losses and 8 knockouts.
