FLASH- Porpramook and Perez made the weigh in ThailandThe Thai champion Kompayak Porpramook and the Venezuelan Jean Piero Pérez are ready to fight for the World Boxing Association flyweight title y in KhonKaen Thailand on Friday.

Both boxers made the weight in the weigh-in held on Thursday hitting 112 pounds and now they only wait for the bell to signal the start of the fight for the gold and black belt.

Pérez has 20 victories, 5 defeats and 14 KO’s, while Porpramook has 49 victories, 4 defeats and 34 knock outs.

The referee of the fight is the New Zealander Ferlin Marsh and the supervisor will be the Korean Alan Kim. Judging the fight will be John Poturaj, Francisco Martinez y Juan Manuel García from USA, New Zealand and Spain, respectively.


Esta tarde en Tailandia los boxeadores Kompayak Porpramook (TAI) y Jean Piero Pérez (VEN) no tuvieron problemas para superar la báscula en la ceremonia de pesaje oficial para su pelea de mañana en el Khon Kaen de Tailandia.

Durante el acto ambos boxeadores registraron 112 libras, el límite de la división mosca, en su primer intento.

Porpramook (49-4-0, con 34 KO’s) y Pérez (20-5-1, con 14 KO’s) disputarán el título interino mosca de la Asociación Mundial de Boxeo (AMB).

El venezolano está instalado en Tailandia en compañía de su equipo de trabajo compuesto por los entrenadores panameños Celso Chávez y Héctor Rangel.
