Spanish boxer Jennifer Miranda (11-0, 1KO) will be back in the ring on October 20 to fight for the World Boxing Association (WBA) interim featherweight title against Panamanian Teresa Almengor (9-1 -3, 4KO) at the Teatro Las Vegas in Madrid, Spain.
‘It’s a dream for me to step into the ring for such an important title, because I feel closer to my big goal and for which I have been preparing all my career’, said the current WBA Gold champion from Las Vegas, United States, where she travelled in mid-August to prepare for this fight.
For her part, Almegor is training in Panama and is happy for the opportunity that comes her way, so she is ready to leave it all in the ring.
The event, organised by the Spanish promoter The Boxer Club, will be called Road To The World and will be completed with amateur boxers, which goes hand in hand with the systematic development of boxing promoted by the WBA.
Both Miranda and his team are expecting a great reception from the public on October 20th.
