Venezuelan announcer and humorist Luis Chataing spent a different afternoon last Friday, when he visited the offices of the World Boxing Association to share with Roberto Duran and Gilberto Jesus Mendoza president of the body.
Duran told Chataing his story and some anecdotes in great battles. While Mendoza explained the importance of boxing in the humblest sectors and how boxing can be a mechanism to help people and change their lives.
It was a pleasure to have Luis in our office. Throughout his career, Luis has shown great talent, professionalism and seriousness in what he does, values that we promote from the WBA. In addition, it is always positive that people like him know a little more boxing and see the great reach he has and the support he gives to society, said Mendoza
At the end of the day Chataing took a unique memory: a WBA mini belt signed by Roberto “Hands of Stone” Duran.
