The British artist Steven Alce made a portrait of the WBA 160 lbs middleweight super champion, Genady Golovkin, who received it in Monaco from the hands of the author and WBA Vice President.
Honored, Golovkin thanked surprised his portrait with the black and gold belt that highlights his physique and his WBA black belt over his right shoulder.
Kazakh fighter defends his belt this Saturday in Monaco, against Britain’s Martin Murray. “I am very grateful for this gift,” were the words spoken by Golovkin.
Alce has already made works of other important public figures, like boxers Muhammad Ali, Mike Tyson, Karl Froch, Amir Kahn, Kell Brook, among many other figures, as well as the trainer Dean Powell or the soccer player Alexis Sánchez.
