The American-Argentine Aaron Aponte, who participated in the Future WBA Champions in 2020, will continue his professional career this Friday at the Arena Alcalde, in Guadalajara, where he will face the Mexican Leo Leon Martinez.
The 20-year-old fighter was with the Argentine delegation in the camp held by the pioneer body in Medellin during 2020 and also participated in a WBA project program in Las Vegas during 2019.
In that same 2020 he jumped to professional and has since won five fights, two of them by knockout. He is a tall super lightweight fighter who knows how to use his physical tools and possesses good technique.
He will face a great test in the Mexican, Martinez, a 19 year old with two wins and one loss, who will be looking to make his home respected and show himself in a great event like the one this Friday.
The main event of the day will be the WBA super bantamweight championship fight between Hiroto Kyoguchi and Esteban Bermudez, while Mayerlin Rivas will defend her WBA super bantamweight belt against Karina Fernandez in the main event.
