The table is set for the event in honor of Mexico’s Independence Day to be held this Wednesday night in Aguascalientes, Mexico. The event will have several World Boxing Association (WBA) regional belts at stake and will be a great party for the country.
The preliminary fights will be available on the WBA YouTube channel: World Boxing Association. They will start at 5:30 pm, Mexico time.
The event will be organized by Gold Ring, Guerreros de Mexico and will have the support of the WBA in a party as important as this week for the Mexican people.
Liliana Palmera and Mexican Karla Ramos, made the weight for their WBA Fedelatin super featherweight belt fight. The former world champion weighed 133.2 lbs. while the local bantamweight stopped the scale at 134.3.
Meanwhile, both the Colombian Veronica Zuluaga and Mexican Danna Delgado weighed in at 117.7 lbs. for their four-round bantamweight bout.
Paulina Angel, another Colombian well regarded in the South American country, will fight Mexico’s Itzel Guadalupe Reyes at an agreed weight of 123 pounds. Both fighters met the agreed weight and are ready to step into the ring.
The rest of the fighters on the card also met their weights and are ready to be present in the evening that will be broadcasted by ESPN Knockout for all Latin America.
