Caoimhin Agyarko will be facing a new challenge this Saturday in London. The Irishman will move down a division in search of a new title, the World Boxing Association (WBA) super welterweight international title, against Poland’s Lukasz Maciec.
Agyarko is 25 years old and is a strong fighter who became the WBA Regional Champion in the middleweight category by defeating Noe Larios Jr. last December 11. He defended the crown in March of this year against Juan Carlos Rubio and now he moves up to 154 pounds with the intention of getting another belt.
He will face a very experienced Maciec, who has four wins in his last five fights. The Polish fighter seems to be more adapted to the category and his style promises to give a good fight.
“Black Thunder”, as Agyarko is nicknamed, comes in with a record of 11 wins, no losses and 7 knockouts. Maciec has 28 wins, 4 losses, 1 draw and 5 knockouts.
