The undefeated Venezuelan boxer, Albert Ramirez confirmed through his official Instagram account his return to the ring, where he will be fighting against the experimental Gilberto Castillo Rivera, also known as Lenin Castillo.
They will fight in a 10-round cruiserweight bout scheduled for Saturday, September 23rd in Monaco.
This will be the third fight of 2023 for 31-year-old Venezuelan boxer Albert Ramon Ramirez, who defeated Ghanaian Jacob Dickson (9-1) by knockout in the first round, where the African fighter lost his perfect pace in the ring.
Later in the year, Ramirez (16-0 / 15 KO) also defeated local Ricardo Adrian Luna (25-10-2) in Cuernavaca, Mexico, by knockout in the fourth round of the fight.
The native of El Vigia, Venezuela, has a very interesting knockout power close to 100%. Likewise, four of his last five victories have ended by knockout and without going past the fourth round.
The experienced 35-year-old Dominican Gilberto Lenin Castillo will be back in action after almost eight months of inactivity. His last fight was at the end of last year, where he defeated Colombian Alex Theran by knockout in the fourth round.
Castillo (24-4-1/ 19 KO) has a knockout power above 70%, accumulated four wins by knockout, all before the fifth round and only one knockout loss to British Callum Smith (27-1) in his five most recent bouts.
