Ivan Baranchyk and Gabriel Bracero will face off for the WBA Intercontinental Super Lightweight Title this Saturday on the same card that Israil Madrimov and Alejandro Barrera will fight for the WBA Intercontinental Super Welterweight Title.
The card will be broadcast by DAZN and the fights will take place at the mythical Madison Square Garden in New York in the return to boxing at MSG, with the last fight card there being held back in June.
Baranchyk (19-1, 12KO’s) will be coming into the fight after taking his first professional loss to Josh Taylor back in May. He will be facing Gabriel Bracero (25-3-1, 6KO’s) who last fought in July of 2018 when he knocked out Artemio Reyes.
Israil Madrimov (3-0, 3KO’s) is a fast-rising blue chip prospect that his highly respected trainer Joel Diaz claims “is the next superstar in the sport”. He is being fast tracked and will face Alejandro Barrera (29-5, 18KO’s) who is coming into the fight with a 1-3 record over the last four years.
Fireworks are expected on the card as there are knockout punchers littering the bout sheet for Madison Square Garden to have another historic in boxing with two WBA Intercontinental Titles on the line.
